On June 4, 2024 the ANSPs of the Baltic FAB (Poland's PANSA and Lithuania's Oro Navigacija) met in Vilnius.
Baltic FAB strategy update is upcoming; thus, it is the right time to overview achievements and set up the way forward. Both partners recognize benefits of cooperation and the need to focus on its practical aspects, among others – pilot project to address regional contingency arrangements, iTEC alliance activities, DEVICE DSD that will industrialize an early version of iTEC SkyNex platform, consolidating virtual center and delegation technologies, regional involvement including support to our partners from Ukraine, calibration services, common voice at international platforms.
The meeting agenda included:
- Baltic FAB cooperation overview
- Baltic FAB common initiatives for RP4 to be then included in Performance Plans
- DEVICE project
- Pilot cross-border contingency project
- iTEC Collaboration – launch of cycle#1
- Baltic FAB-wide flight calibration services
- GNSS jamming and spoofing
The Baltic FAB MO (Management office) is now working on the meeting conslusions and actions, in preparation to the Board.
