On February 26-27, Warsaw, the 4th meeting of the Baltic FAB Council was held.

The Council is responsible for defining the strategic directions of Polish-Lithuanian cooperation in the area of air navigation. The meeting was chaired by Mr Mikołaj Wild - Government Plenipotentiary for the Central Communication Port for the Republic of Poland and Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure. The Lithuanian side was represented by Mr Ričardas Degutis, Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania with the delegation.

At the meeting the results of cooperation within the Baltic FAB at the institutional and operational level in 2017 were presented. Also, the Baltic FAB Council decided on the directions of FAB in the following years, including activities at the inter-FAB level and possible cooperation with institutions providing air navigation services from non-EU countries.



The Baltic FAB Development Strategy 2025 remains the basis of the Baltic FAB activities for the coming years. On its basis, the Action Plan was developed and approved by the FAB Council, which sets out specific projects to be implemented as part of the initiative.
